1. Overview
The Snooker App ("Platform") is a software-as-a-service provider that facilitates club management, tournament organization, and digital ledger services for snooker and billiards players and managers. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
2. Digital Wallet Services
The Platform provides a digital wallet ("Wallet") to allow users to manage club memberships, entry fees, and skill-based challenges.
- Not a Bank: The Wallet is a digital representation of funds held by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. It is not a bank account.
- Minimum Top-Up: A minimum top-up of $25.00 AUD is required for wallet funding transactions.
3. Service Fees and Charges
To maintain the Platform's infrastructure and real-time scoring features, fees may apply. All fees are inclusive of GST where applicable.
- Wallet Top-Up: A convenience fee of $2 applies to cover payment processing and platform maintenance.
- Withdrawal: A platform service fee of $2 is deducted from the total amount transferred to a bank account.
- Club Challenges: The Platform does not take a rake from stakes. Fees are charged only on the movement of money into or out of the ecosystem.
- Transparency: All fees will be displayed clearly in the app interface before you confirm any transaction.
4. Player-to-Player Challenges and Disputes
- Skill-Based Only: You acknowledge that snooker and billiards are games of skill. Wallet use for challenges is strictly for skill-based competition.
- Manager as Arbiter: The Club Manager of the host venue is the sole arbiter for all match disputes. The Platform will not intervene in disputes regarding match outcomes or winner-takes-all allocations.
- Finality: Once a Manager or designated official enters a score and confirms a winner, the ledger transfer is final.
5. KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
In compliance with Australian law, the Platform and its Managers reserve the right to:
- Request identity verification before approving a withdrawal.
- Freeze any wallet suspected of fraudulent activity, dumping funds, or illegal wagering.
- Require the Club Manager to ensure that players participating in paid challenges at their venue are verified.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Snooker App provides the technical framework for club management. We are not responsible for:
- Physical disputes or conduct at club venues.
- The inability of a Club Manager to fulfill payout requests if club funds are insufficient.
- User error in entering scores or initiating transfers.
7. Refund Policy
- Subscriptions: Yearly Go-Premium and Manager Subscription features are non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Wallet Credits: Users may request withdrawal of their remaining balance at any time, subject to the standard withdrawal fee.
